The Lamp Lighting ceremony at Mar Ivanois School of Nursing

The Lamp Lighting ceremony of the 2nd batch students of Mar Ivanois School of Nursing, Perumpuzha, Kollam, Kerala was held on 25.05.2002.
His Excellency most Rt. Rev. Joshua Mar Ignathios, Auxilliary Bishop of Trivandrum graced the occasion and inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp and enlightened the gathering with his inspiring speech. Rev. Fr. Mathew Karoor, Director presided over the function. In his presidential address he encouraged the students to dedicate themselves for the service of community.
Sr. There Martin, Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the -guest. The Hon'ble Chief Guest, Most Rt. Rev. Joshua mar Ignathios handed over the lighted lamp to the students.
The encouraging felicitation was given by Dr. B. Haridas, Medical Superintendent, Sr. Ann Mary, Principal, MDH School of Nursing, Mundakkayam. Dr. T.S. Stellamma, Surgeon, Sr. Rita Mary, Nursing Superintendent-- all of them blessed the students with an inspiring message.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Sr. Teresa SIC, Nursing Tutor of the School of Nursing.
